Brown Butter Roasted Strawberries with Chantilly, Almonds and Black Pepper

Happy Valentine’s Day Everyone!

When I think of Valentines day I think Strawberries. This is my rendition of Strawberries and Cream, which are usually associated with this romantic occasion. Plates optional.
To make things a bit easier, you can prepare through step 3, but hold off on roasting them until you are ready to serve.

  2. What could be more simple, beautiful and natural than this luscious dessert! Elegant, too. Like most women I know, I am shifting my diet to more fresh vegetables and fruits; I’m so looking forward to coming here for inspiration and great recipes!

    • Thank you. You can switch out the strawberries for other fruits that are in season such as figs. It’s a great last minute dessert when you need to put something together in a hurry.
